What is Karuna Reiki®?
Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism, Buddhism and Zen. Intranslation, it means any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as "compassionate action." And thus, KarunaReiki® can be defined as the Reiki of Compassion. This compassion is not an ordinary kind, but one that comes from boundless sea of love. And when this kind of compassion is combined with wisdom, it can help one to reach enlightenment. When people experience enlightenment, they see all beings as one. Therefore, it is natural thing to do, to offer Karuna or compassionate action to everyone without distinction because we are all one.Karuna Reiki® has become a next step for a lot of people who have attained Usui Reiki master level. Karuna system brings in healing energies that have higher frequency, heal on deeper level, are noticeably stronger, and capable of healing more quickly wider array of difficulties.
~ Origin ~
Karuna Reiki® evolved out of Usui and Tibetan Reiki. This healing modality was developed by William Rand and other healers at TheInternational Center for Reiki Training. The Karuna system of Reiki consists of two attunements, four master symbols, and eight treatment symbols. The treatment symbols are very powerful and direct and each one of them helps to heal at least four different issues.
What can be treated ?
Some of the difficulties that Karuna Reiki® helps to heal are: past life issues, child abuse, karmic difficulties, unconscious patterns, sexual and physical abuse issues, relationships, addictions, communication, insomnia, co-dependence, insomnia, panic and fear attacks, tumors and cysts, fibromyalgia, bipolar disorder, Alzheimer's and many many more.
~ Karuna and Spiritual Guidance ~
Karuna Reiki® opens one to work more closely with all enlightened beings. It strengthens one's connection and awareness to the purest spiritual guidance with Archangels, Angels and Ascended Masters. Some of the Spiritual Masters that Karuna Reki® practitioners experience during treatments are: Kuan-Yin, Krishna, Jesus, Mother Mary, and St. Germaine. Although this healing modality is not a religion, many have reported that they have received healing and guidance from spiritual beings.
Karuna Reiki® is the registered trademark of The International Center for Reiki Training. The Karuna Reiki® program is taught only by those who are registered with The International Center for Reiki Training.
Karuna Reiki® Class
*This class can be taken by any student who has been a Reiki master for at least 6 months and can draw the Reiki II and master symbols from memory*
A brief description of the four Karuna Reiki® I symbols is given here: The first symbol prepares the client for deep healing and is useful with past life issues. It helps release karma and deeply seated issues on the cellular level. The second symbol heals deeply and can be used to breakup the negative patterns we unconsciously use to insulate ourselves from the truth, thus shattering delusion and denial. It heals the shadow self. The third symbol fills the person with love and restores balance. The fourth symbol completes the treatment by bringing the client back into the body and grounding. The Karuna II symbols are of a higher vibration and more powerful. They help connect directly with the Higher Self and work on a deeper level. While they have specific purposes discussed in class, the experience of their energy allows intuitive guidance in their use.
Those, who would like to be attuned to the first four and second four Karuna Reki® symbols and integrate them into your other healing systems without the interest in teaching, can do so by attending Karuna Reki® I. Practitioner class and Karuna Reki® II. Practitioner class. One may choose to attend just one; however in order to be attuned to Level Two symbols, one must complete the Karuna Reiki® I. Practitioner class first. We will also be doing a Reiki meditation to be aware of and heal the Shadow Self and using chanting and toning with Karuna Reiki®symbols.
Karuna Reiki® Master
Karuna Reiki® Master can be taught as a three day intensive or over 4 days and is offered to those who have completed Reiki Master Training, meaning they have received the Usui Master symbol and have been working with it for at least 6 months prior to taking this class. The students will receive two attunements, which consist of four Level One symbols, four Level Two symbols, and four Master symbols.
Both levels of Karuna Reiki® and both attunements will be given as well as instruction and practice on the use of all twelve symbols. You will be able to teach all four levels of Karuna Reiki®, two practitioner levels and two master levels after taking this class. Lots of practice time is included for giving treatments, using the symbols and for learning the attunement processes. A 104 page manual is included with in depth descriptions of each symbol and each attunement process. You will also be offered the opportunity to become a "Registered Karuna Reiki® Master" with The International Center for Reiki Training and be able to use their manuals.
