Egypt Sacred Journies - Terms and Conditions
Please read carefully before applying or making a payment. By submitting your application or payment, you agree to these terms.
1. Booking and Deposit
1.1 A booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been received.
1.2 A deposit is required to secure your spot on this journey. The deposit becomes payable only after the minimum number of participants has been reached. Once paid, the deposit is non-refundable for personal reasons, changes of mind, or ordinary cancellations.
Exceptions: In the event of force majeure (such as natural disasters, government travel restrictions, pandemics) or serious personal emergencies (such as the death of a close family member), the deposit may be partially or fully refunded or credited toward a future journey, at the discretion of the organizers.
By paying the deposit, you confirm your commitment to attend and agree to these terms.
1.3 Full payment is required by the date specified in your confirmation.
1.4 Payment can be made via bank transfer, website link, or other agreed methods.
1.5 The journey price includes logistics managed by the Egyptian tour operator, including accommodation, planned excursions, airport transfers, Egyptologist guide, entrance fees to museums and pyramids, three meals per day, and bottled water during excursions and transfers.
2. Roles
Ibrahim Apo Shnaff - Egyptian Tour Operator: Responsible for all travel logistics, accommodations, excursions, guides, and entrance fees.
Jana Božoňová: Acts solely as the journey guide/facilitator, leading meditations, group activities, communicating with participants, and providing energetic support. Jana Božoňová is not responsible for travel logistics or local arrangements.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
3.1 Cancellations must be made in writing.
3.2 Refund policy (as managed by the operator):
Cancellation 30+ days before departure: 70% refund of the remaining balance
Cancellation 15-29 days before departure: 50% refund of the remaining balance
Cancellation less than 15 days: no refund
3.3 Participants are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.
4. Changes to the Program
4.1 The operator reserves the right to alter or adjust the itinerary in response to weather conditions, local circumstances, or unforeseen events beyond their control.
4.2 Any changes aim to maintain the quality and integrity of the journey.
5. Travel Requirements
5.1 Participants are responsible for securing valid passports, visas and required travel documents.
5.2 The operator is not responsible for denied entry or missed flights.
6. Health and Safety
6.1 Participants must disclose relevant medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or physical limitations.
6.2 The journey involves walking, outdoor activities, and sometimes remote locations. Participants must be physically able to participate.
6.3 Neither the guide nor the operator are liable for illness, injury, or personal loss during the journey.
7. Conduct
7.1 Participants agree to respect local laws, culture, and fellow participants.
7.2 Participants may be removed from the journey at the discretion of the organizers if their behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful to others.
8. Liability
8.1 The operator provides all logistical services.
8.2 The guide facilitates spiritual, meditative, and group experiences only.
8.3 Participants are responsible for personal belongings, travel arrangements, and safety.
9. Force Majeure
9.1 Neither the operator nor the guide are liable for circumstances beyond control (natural disasters, political events, strikes, pandemics, etc.).
9.2 Alternatives or refunds will be provided when reasonably possible.
10. Agreement
By submitting an application or payment, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
